Conveyor Services
Wesbelt maintains fully equipped service centres to cater for your every belting requirement including but not limited to:

  • Stock belting
  • Splicing
  • Vulcanizing equipment
  • Installation equipment (belt drums, winding equipment and winches)
  • Fasteners
  • Pulley design and manufacture
  • Belt cleaners

Wesbelt can also provide expertise in specialised areas such as:

  • Quality splicing of plasterboard belts
  • Fire-safe splicing equipment
  • Lightweight portable splicing equipment for light-duty PVC belts.

All Wesbelt branches can respond quickly to breakdown emergencies with expert technicians on hand for in-field repairs. All branches have a 24-hour service capability.

Belt Trade-In
As well as the best buying price for the highest quality conveyor belts, Wesbelt may in many cases buy back the used belting (including steel cord) for its recycling oprations.

Mechanical Services
Wesbelt provides comprehensive Field Service Support covering all aspects of conveyor maintenance. These services are customized to suit the specific needs of each customer and include:

  • Schedule of rates work on an as required basis
  • Full task based contract administration/management
  • Cents per tonne contract

Systems monitoring services can be provided by Wesbelt or through a network of independent service providers, which will ensure a preventative maintenance program.

The objective of Wesbelts’ Total Maintenance Solution is to achieve reliability of product performance and Life Cycle Maximisation of conveyor components resulting in maximum plant reliability and availability.

Equipment

The Wesbelt fleet of 4WD’s, trucks and commercial vehicles are all purchased new, with a typical maximum service life of 3-4 years. On-site vehicles are fitted as standard with all safety equipment to comply with normal requirements.

All other tools winches and winders used on site are regularly checked, maintained and tagged as appropriate for standard safety regulations.
